A few photos from Punkin Chunkin as promised! The kids had a great time, more so eating pumpkin funnel cake and climbing the rock wall than watching the pumpkins fly! But, when those cannons shoot a pumpkin over 3,000 feet, it’s hard to ever even see the pumpkin! My children were most interested by the trebuchets, as my son has a few miniature versions at home. We played a little in the carnival area where I rode a mechanical bull  (video NOT included) and my husband rung the strongman bell a few times, then we strolled back to our campsite where we enjoyed a cozy fire and observed the circus at the campground. The “circus” went on throughout the night with the air horns sounding at even 3 a.m! Made me reconsider tent camping next time and investing in an RV! … it also might have made me feel a little old… :/ ooooh to be in my 20s again! One last thing to say about Punkin Chunkin – they put on an AMAZING fireworks show!!! We must’ve said “oh this must be the finale” at least 15 times before the actual finale! Fantastic show!!! Thank you Punkin Chunkin for a great day of memories with my family!
